They deserve to have Donald J. Trump as their presidential nominee.

What are they worried they'll find in the study? that guns are bad for public health?

This is so dumb. The studies could also help in other ways like spotting patterns to look for in background checks. Or data to help guide our lawmakers make more relevant and sensible laws.

They are clearly worried the results will show something they don't want.

The AMA or Pew or some non-government organization should collect data to study it and be outside the control of the NRA.

Johns Hopkins tries to study it http://www.jhsph.edu/research/centers-and-institutes/johns-hopkins-center-for-gun-policy-and-research/

And Michael Bloomberg's group: http://everytown.org/

A school full of CHILDREN were shot up and that didn't even get them to sit down and talk. These are the same people who constantly bray, "Won't somebody pleeeeeease think of the children!" Do you (general usage) honestly think a club full of dead gay people is going to get them off their asses?!
