You are an amazing human being. I wish more people were like you. Liberal_Stalwart71 Jul 2016 #2
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic. xfundy Jul 2016 #3
Why would you think I was being sarcastic? What you wrote honestly moved me. Why the hostility? Liberal_Stalwart71 Jul 2016 #4
Sorry, it's reached the point in the USA where honest emotion has become suspect xfundy Jul 2016 #5

We all see it, yet we don't say anything against it. Why not? We even internalize it sometimes, imagining "they" deserve that treatment based on something "they" did. If we cannot come to the realization that we are all individuals, and work together, we cannot survive as a species, and yes, we are all of the same species.

I've found tears falling from my eyes for the past few days often without actively experiencing emotions. The sadness is all-encompassing, and pervasive. It's reached a point where it's not even top-of-mind, it's a state of being.

and those who want to hurt others will abuse their emotions to do so. Nothing is off limits.

Forgiveness, please. I guess I'm sensitive after dealing with heartless types.

I'm a black woman, so I know all too well about racism and sexism. It needs to stop.
