those unfortunate things are being exploited in republicanism, but conservatism and republicanism are fast becoming two completely different governing philosophies. And our country as a whole is suffering because of this tragic divergence. They may call themselves conservatives, but that don't make it so. Colin Powell is a conservative. James Baker is a conservative. Joe Scarborough is a conservative. John Kasick is a conservative. But alot of these other guys like Trump, Cruz, Carson, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity.....they maybe republicans....but they are no longer truly conservative.

There is a civil war brewing in the Republican party, and its between the Conservative Wing of the party, and the Extreme Right Wing of the party. And unfortunately, because the Extreme Right Wing has the big Republican media machine behind them, there kicking the Conservatives ass!

Every event was related to someone with a gun; scared; or angry; or whatever. Its the guns. Its the gun culture.

notion that something needs to be done, nothing will change.

Note that I used the term "gun advocates." I would like to see all guns turned into plowshares, but know that I'm in a minority.

9. Get rid of the lobbyist. Get rid of Congressmen who are taking money from them.

Oh that would take legislation, never mind. Maybe people need to get out and vote for Progressive candidates. You think this country could put the two together, that sitting on their asses, or making up excuses for not going to the polls, has big consequences. We get what we vote for.
