I had to hurry and post it. It's hard for me to believe that I lived through that era he spoke of.

2. America has indeed stayed strong - despite neocon shills like Zakaria.

That ridiculous little man has waved his pom-poms for everything from the Bush regime, to the Iraq War, to the housing bubble, to the undoing of Glass-Steagall and most other financial regulations, to the Brazil coup, to the TPP, and just about anything the same neocon criminals that almost ruined this country have instructed him to support over the years.

The fewer Fareed Zakarias there are in this country, the stronger we will be.

Many readers might not be as familiar with Zakaria as well or for as long as you or I might be, and considering many of his policy positions in the past I always find his patriotic protestations quite rich.

But then, you know what they say about patriotism...
