The People's Lobby

Today, we begin in earnest a fundraising drive to get our ad, “The People’s Lobby” run on television in South Carolina!
“The People’s Lobby” is a one-minute commercial constructed around the Occupy Columbia creed. Like all our efforts, it was created entirely by volunteers who care deeply about the Occupy movement. Now we need everyone’s help to get it up on television.
We are asking people to contribute any amount they can, to ask friends and family to help, and to share “The People’s Lobby” on Facebook and Twitter.
Our goal is to reach an audience that has yet to hear our unfiltered message. We’ve all come together to speak up against a system that isn’t working for the majority of Americans. Bankers took egregious risks, crashed the economy, got bailed out with our money, gave themselves bonuses, and then used that money to influence politics. We are the people’s lobby!
