(22,050 posts)I've watched "The West Wing" in its entirety three or four times. What a great show! And the fun part of this pilot for me was how the primary characters were introduced in the opening segment.

(22,050 posts)First, "The Supremes" which co-starred Glenn Close who became the first female Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. The remarkably adept political maneuvering by Josh Lyman to accomplish this illustrated how political compromise is supposed to work.
Second favorite is the series finale, "Tomorrow." It was inspirational that President Bartlett felt he had more things to accomplish even after having been a fairly successful president.
That was a great TV show.
