Until it got sexual. This reminds me of a book I read by a liberal Christian preacher against the fundamentalists and the religious right in which he said that these "fundies" are willing to look the other way and turn a blind eye to all kinds of moral and ethical abuses, especially when its done for their cause, but the moment it gets sexual - that's when all hell breaks loose! And it seems like Republicans and conservatives in general have the same mindset. Donald Trump was just going along with the flow and accepting all the projections of right wing Christians and pastors as they were blessing him in Jesus' name, with an Alfred E. Neuman "What me worry?" kind of grin on his face. But now, the karmic chickens have come home to roost...
