My daughter (OMG, now forty) loved the classic movie poster and had it on her wall in junior high, before ever seeing the movie. It became one of a number of classic movies she later enjoyed. She's now in advertising/public relations and has used many classic ads and posters (there are books and lists available to that business as to what images are in the public domain and what need permission or payment) and often uses classic stuff.
