Even the news media with their "working class whites" description. Unless you are in the one percent, you want the same things no matter what ethnic group you identify with. Good jobs, benefits, safe streets and communities, and a government that looks out for the good of the people. If Republcans weren't so bent on destroying everything for the sake of power, this country would be on the path to bring these things to the people.

...one of the funniest SNL bits I've seen in decades!

After reading here, my first job was to go looking for it to show my wife.

It was this lame sketch that seemed like a throwaway for any week there is a white host and need a time filler.

This time it really worked! First I know people just like Doug. And the skit showed that working class black and White folks really aren't that much different. But first time watching that skit I kept waiting for Hank's Trump supporter to show his racist side. I think it was great how the skit did it but in a subtle funny way - like when Hanks backed away at first when Thompson wanted to shake his hand. And the ending - a classic!

Best skit of the night! That and the CBS Comedy

Normally the 3rd contestant is a white person who doesn't get it like the African-American host and 2 other African-American contestants. Elizabeth Banks and Louis CK have done the skit.

First time they changed it up was when Drake hosted. Drake is black but he is African-Canadian. So the joke was as a Canadian he was just as clueless as the white contestants compared to the other 2 (who are always African-American).

I think everyone first assumed that Tom Hank's Trump-loving Doug would give all these racists answers. He is the first time he actually understood the questions. Probably because working class whites and blacks in America really aren't that much different from each other.

I'm a dry humor sort most of the time, so actually guffawing is a special treat. And usually comes as a surprise. Lol.
