My husband is a psychiatrist/psychoanalyst, too.

We had dinner with friends last night--celebrating an 85th birthday--and we are all Medicare age.
We were talking about how we've been through disappointing elections, but never have felt as
afraid as we do with the election of Trump. And it's no wonder. The child-king. A bully.

It's interesting to hear Frank say that we absolutely must fight Trump. I agree. For us--the group
at the dinner last night--it becomes a question of fight or flight. Going along is the worst possible
option. But at our ages, do we really want to fight anymore? One couple has friends who have
already decamped to Lake Como in Italy. Yes, they had been going back and forth for years,
but saw the Trump handwriting on the wall and have now gotten themselves established as
permanent residents.
