Very Sturgeon like in the snout but it appears to be a chewing-not suction-style mouth-that does extend like a sturgeon's.

Ancient that is for sure...

And the eyes are awesome. Definitely a deep water vision thing On a sturgeon they are almost a vestige. But they both have the sensory dot pattern on the snout.

I have fished for sturgeon for years. I leave them alone now-arms can't take it anyhow as they do get very large. But I was mostly catch & release in the old days.

Look up "iniopterygian" and "Helicoprion" to see what I mean.

Very interesting watch, although he appeared to be a bit bored. Not a great deal of amusements way down there for the citizenry.

Great we found it just in time to pollute the oceans and help it go extinct, with the help of the Trump administration. If you don't believe me look at his choices for his cabinets...

Don't forget he has a man who thought it was ok to keep the sign "Niggerhead Ranch" at the entrance of the ranch he bought. So if the people around Trump don't care about people do you think they will care about some unstudied fish(?) I think not.
