Gingrich's position is, literally, that the rules should not apply to Trump because he's rich

We might never see any of the corruption if the real press continues to act like scared lapdogs who might be denied access to Trump if they say something nasty (or honest) about him, and the fake press (Faux News) continues to propagandize and distract.

Putin is Trump's roll model, and Putin has the Russian press on a pretty tight leash. That's why the Russian economy is shrinking, and things are getting worse, and Putin's approval ratings remain high.

But there are the guys from Ring of fire, Thom Hartman, and this group: https://trofire.com/
They may be the only reliable news if they can get access. I tend to go through other countries news like CBC, NHK, and BBC. But if Trump makes it all secret, I don't know if we will see anything.

But again, we will see somethings, never seen in our life time, I am sure about that.

Reagan was most certainly the beginning of the end. Democracy hasn't really existed for quite some time. Sure, we had moments, 8 years of peace and prosperity under President Clinton had us all feeling good. Dubya made sure to wipe out all that progress and then some.

President Obama put some of the pieces back together but Trump and his gazillionaires, generals, and gomers are sure to undo everything.

Also, Newt's knowledge of history is shorter than his pud, and he's got a fucking Ph.D. in it. Washington, Jefferson and Madison were all major landowners. Trump's wealth is even more illusory than theirs; he couldn't replace the furnace in one of his towers without floating a loan first.

23. Donald Trump Not Too Rich; Too Republican
Tue Dec 20, 2016, 05:50 PM
Dec 2016

Newt Gingrich is not showing support for Donald Trump violating ethics rules because he is too rich; Gingrich is in support of Trump breaking ethics rules because currently, Donald Trump is a Republican. Gingrich's position has nothing to do with the fact that Donald Trump is rich; it has everything to do with the fact that Donald Trump is a Republican. If a Democrat with that much money has won the Presidency Newt Gingrich and the Republican Party would be all over that Democrat threatening to impeach that person for even a slight violation of ethics rules. This is just another example of Republican hypocrisy. It is okay if a Republican does the action.

Seriously, why does anyone even write this stuff down ? Gingrich is an irrelevant gadfly. He had more than his 15 minutes of fame, and he blew it on mistresses, lucrative book deals, and a half million in bling from Tiffany's. He has zero political authority and rates in the negative numbers on moral authority. Put away the microphones, they only provoke him into uttering new bullshit that's as devoid of sense as his old bullshit.
