All the more poignant because Crosby himself passed away within days of filming this.

Thank you for this sweet little memory, Sufragette. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I remember an interview with the devout Catholic. In response to a question about what he would so if one of his daughters got pregnant outside of marriage, he said that she would know that she would be dead to him and that he would never see her again or see the child.
Great example of Christian love and forgiveness. Guess the old bastard was perfect so he could throw the first stone.

And they wrote this beautiful and meaningful counterpoint for him.

I love it.

Best to you, always.

Thanks for the info. I see he performed "Stay".

Have you seen "The Linguini Incident"? That was the best movie I saw him in, with Rosanna Arquette, Eszter Balint. I believe David helped Joe Strummer out of that recording contract bind Joe was in, by having him do the soundtrack under the name "Pray for Rain".

A Bowie movie with a Strummer soundtrack?

And wasn't Arquette the woman Gabriel wrote "in Your Eyes" for?
