Hadn't heard it before. Steve Earle is a true lefty. I will never forget how he came to play at the protests in Crawford during the Bush era.

I was wondering the same thing. I have been following Steve Earle for about 20 years or so and have seen him go through multiple looks. Last time I saw him, he had a big old grizzley beard and thinning on top... also looked a little rougher than in this video. This song is at least 10 years old...since I have it on his El Corazon CD released in 1997. I've also seen him do it live with Joan Baez and that must have been about that long ago, also.

That was 2005. I am not sure if this is then, but that was what I thought.
