She doesn't DARE express anything other than "delight" when her master looks at her. She is well aware that she is being used as his prop and not valued as a human being.

If you watch the video of Graham’s speech from another angle, it looks like Trump may have been saying something to his son Barron. Perhaps, then, Melania is frowning as a reaction to her son being scolded. You could interpret that look a lot of ways, to be honest. But there’s something about her complete about-face that seems to reveal a deeper truth.

Here is a video that shows the scene from that different angle:

This video does not show Melania's reaction but look at the reactions of the blond woman and the gray haired man behind The Donald. Both people were very uncomfortable after his remarks. Up to that point they had been smiling, after they were not happy at all.

Little Green Footballs has that clip and another angle at Revealing Video of Donald and Melania Trump at Inauguration: Was It Reversed?

Snopes:
From a different angle (seen at the 1:21 mark in the video below), it looks as though Trump's remark might have been addressed not to his wife, but to his son Barron, who was talking and fidgeting behind him:

In the first video I posted at the 18 second mark when they cut back to Trump he has his back turned and it looks as if Barron is making direct eye contact with him and responds to what he says.

With the long distance that most of the cameras were shooting from the angles get deceptive. It is very hard to tell exactly who he was talking to - but whatever he said more than just Melania had negative responses.

He's a little like those mob bosses that have their mistresses whacked because she (foolishly) threatens the lowlife with spilling the beans. Hell, I'm sure he's friends with a few who actually have.

but the impression I get from this clip is that, Trump is actually scolding her about something, but look at her forced smile, right from the get-go. It's not a reflex, but she knows how to play the game, she's been groomed to smile back, no matter what he says or what her true feelings might be.

And look at the hard set of his jaw and the tight downturned mouth, as he smugly turns his face back to the front again. Pride comes before a fall, Donald. And look at the gormless smiles of the people behind the dear lady, who seemingly can scarcely believe what she's heard from him.

of the black stump - such as yours truly - scrutinising the least nuance of his demeanour, and giving him the benefit of their marriage counselling, and homespun philosophising, generally. Still, Poloniuslike, and as my concluding pearl of wisdom, Donald, never 'mix it' with a woman - least of all your missiz. They have very, very long memories, and when you're least expecting it, she'll lower the boom on you ... !
