(17,175 posts)According to some poll or other (CNN? Who knows), Mr Trump's "approval" after inauguration was 51%, a figure which boggles the mind. (Wasn't that a Pic of The Moment a few days ago?) Since 51% of the voters did not choose Mr Trump, either a substantial number of those polled who didn't vote approve of him, or everybody loves a winner. (Questions of methodology for the poll aside) I am forced to conclude that the majority of American voters who didn't bother to vote don't care one way or another about Mr Trump, hard as that is to believe.

Have you no issue with any of that?

(515 posts)that Trump probably would have preferred to have lost the electoral college and not be president but won the popular vote. I think that is true!

(30,247 posts)That speech was a home run, Trump told ABC News just a few minutes into his first major television interview since moving into the White House. See what Fox said. They said it was one of the great speeches. They showed the people applauding and screaming.
I got a standing ovation. In fact, they said it was the biggest standing ovation since Peyton Manning had won the Super Bowl, and they said it was equal. I got a standing ovation. It lasted for a long period of time.
When I read the paragraph above, at first I thought that it was a joke. Nope, it's a direct quote. The guy is nuts.
Wow......

He is sooooooooooooooooo pathetic and needy. "Look at me. Look at me. LOOK AT ME-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E!"

(30,247 posts)I took it verbatim from the WaPo. The man is a joke. Even setting aside his politics, I'm just plain embarrassed that this ignorant buffoon is president. The guy is a bad joke, a caricature of what a president should be.

(23,943 posts)...as hypersensitive to criticism as he is has any business being in the Oval Office.
I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner. I see 2 yr olds with ear infections who don't whine as much as Trump does. He is pathetic.

What they really want is to repeal the 15th and 19th amendments. What I want, is for him to get fed up and quit. Pence is bad, but he's not as popular or entertaining to their voters. We can resist and defeat these guys.

(10,296 posts)as Trump blathered on! He even gently suggested that maybe Trump should move on.... nope, Trump went as far as to show a blowup of the inaugural crowd.... I hear Trump was so upset he called the Director of National Parks to demand a statement saying his crowd was the biggest, on a Saturday, in the morning, out of the blue. Think a bit about that. Your first phone call from the new boss and he demands you lie for him..... let it sink in...
