Glad he got away from redneckistan. These yayhoo's who are still celebrating the coronation of their astonishing idiot, after carrying misspelled signs in their pitiful Fox-noise created "Tea Party" rallies spouting completely baseless and contrived confabulations just might, might... get a frickin' clue soon.
Maybe this is what it takes to spur the "I don't get political" bunch to action in 2018 and 2020.
If we don't get our entire country nuked to smithereens first.

Much of my family hails from Austin Tx. Now none of us left there, all retired in the southwest, various locations.
Same concept. Huge liberal island in a sea of conservatism. Irony is, it's the capitol city.

My whole area is filled with dRumper's base, so it's a challenge to have a conversation with anyone at the grocery store, the hardware store, at my doctor's office, etc. I feel more isolated now than ever in my life. I am 72 and an atheist so there are not a lot of places for me to go to meet people to talk to, except online, of course. I so appreciate DU and Daily Kos ~ it helps to maintain what's left of my sanity.

Welcome to my state, LR! I spent 16 years in Georgia before I gravitated to CA. I don't plan on ever leaving - and I even live in a red enclave of this solidly blue refuge! I'm hoping we DO get to vote for Cal Exit in 2018.
