Or come blazing out of DT's twitter rants then certainly the credibility can be questionable. No, fake. No, conspiracy against our conspiracy... er... obfuscation... er... alternative facts... er...
How the fuck did we warp to this new reality?

...and was in Washington the weekend before Dean testified. We went out to a local restaurant/bar for a few drinks on Saturday night. While we were there a beautiful blonde woman got really drunk and got up and started dancing on the bar. I'd never seen anything like that before.

I drove home to NYC Sunday morning and never gave it a second thought, until I watched the news the night of Dean's testimony (hearings weren't shown live back then, no CNN, MSNBC, etc.) I jumped out of my seat and yelled at the television - "John Dean's wife, that's the woman that was dancing on the bar!!!" I called my friend down in Washington later and the first thing she said was "did you see that woman who was dancing on the bar? That was Dean's wife."

Unfortunately shortly after that they got divorced - my theory was that the scandal put lots of pressure on their marriage and caused them to split up.

Mo was a real beauty. Nobody missed Dean's testimony because of her sitting behind him. I think they did start broadcasting live when it became the story.

.....I'd heard they got divorced but that didn't happen. They're still married after all these years (married in 1972, now 45 years ago)

thinking back on Watergate so much now. My dad and I followed it all very closely. I remember that he even took time off work to watch the hearings a couple of times or arranged to work tricks (railroader) so he would be off in the afternoons to tune in. What a time to live through! Looks like we may experience the same thing all over again!
