4. Here's a radical idea

Setup medicare for all and let it compete against the "free market" plans. If private medical insurance is superior and less expensive than it will prevail and the debate will be over and the repukes can celebrate about the wonders of privatization.

Have to give everyone the option of going with Medicare.

Premiums would need to be paid without subsidization for any new subscribers. Straight up competition, will a plan with a 1 to 2% administrative overhead out compete private plans with anywhere from 15 to 30% overhead? Of course it would and none of the civil servants would be making millions of dollars, buying multiple. homes, yachts, and airplanes.

It would be delightful if some brave group of democratic congresspeople would just propose it so we could listen to the rich and entitled howl with anger and fear.
