(111,130 posts)It's a holiday there, his granddaddy's birthday. The parade is military, the people in the stands regimented, holding up colored cards to catapult the propaganda, and you don't need to know Korean to know what the announcer is saying. Really.
Everybody loves a parade, yanno, but there are few random people on the street who didn't get seats in the stands. It's very weird but everything about that country is very weird.
I don't know if they'll set off a nuclear firecracker in celebration. It doesn't look like His Godhood has a mic to announce it on.

(204,695 posts)That SoS Madeline Albright successfully continued with his son, Kim Jong-il. That ongoing dialog ended in 2002 when George W Bush* broke their agreement of "mutual respect" when he announced they were a part of his "Axis of Evil" and things have gone downhill ever since.

(3,847 posts)so rail thin it looks like all those medals will make them fall over, same as his army. Looking at the "million person" army, tragic. One of any of our special forces could break them in half because they have no food.
President Obama had Kim Jung Krazy's act down... he would explode some ordinance then China would go talk to them and give him more shit. God knows he doesn't pass nay of it down to his people.
