Rob Quist has the right perspective on...

I don't normally care for the "candidate shoots..." political ads but this one is different in that what gets shot is a worthy target and I would do it myself!

This is MY candidate for the state's ONE seat in Congress... and I will vote for him in a heartbeat. He has a good support network and I think the DNC is finally helping our candidates in these special elections.

I live in MT and out here, guns serve a different purpose than in other places... this ad will get some serious mileage and is approved of by even non-poitical folks in this state.

I hope this isn't against the rules with the guns part, I wanted to show a decent ad though.

and grew up with multiple guns in the house. We (the kids) were taught gun safety at a very early age. That said, I believe gun "control " maybe more of an urban vs rural issue than party.

has a way of changing the dynamic a bit. I agree that there is a need to rein in our gun fetish (nationally).

I was raised in the NE but I was taught about guns when very young also, safety was imperative, always is.

I have always disliked guns but, there are many democrats who own them
I don't think guns should be wrong.
While we largely agree with the ideas of the democratic party there is always an issue or so that we may diverge from being 100%.
I think if you are largely with the democrats thinking it should be fine.

though out here in our area, guns are a tool of management and sustenance more than anything else. I don't care to use them but my neighbors do. In that context I see it as a choice.
