Anti-Trump Bar Opens in NYC

Manhattan liberals chagrined about being out of power now have a place to cry in their suds. Coup, a new bar festooned with slogans like "Protest is Patriotic," has pledged to donate its profits to organizations like ACLU and Planned Parenthood. (April 26)

But do they have a drink called a "Kudatah?"

For context, a bunch of non-French speakers in Alberta was "organizing" a protest against the left-leaning premier of the province and were trying to spell "coup d'etat" but had no idea.

This was a very popular screen capture at the time:

Anyway, I just thought it would make a good drink name, and make fun of right wingers at the same time

Hope the trend catches on. We complain, but how many of us filter our spending for the political support and orientation
of the businesses we purchase from?

It's conflicting at times. The local antibiotic-free egg producer may well be a Republican
farmer, who supports and votes Republican for generations.

What's an anti-Trumper to do?

Every night they give 10% of the take to one of several non-profits (Planned Parenthood, ACLU, etc.) depending on which one the clients have left the most tokens for that night.

I love it!
