(6,594 posts)Big fan of the first Blade Runner but I just cat see a movie set in an all white future. Maybe someone with better eyes can correct me but I didn't see one POC.

(16,104 posts)I know the city of 'Bladerunner' was minority-white with prominent East Asian/Latino population and influence.
I know Ridley Scott productions have been inclusive and diverse.
However - you do make a valid point. The trailer does look awful white!

(41,831 posts)Latino and Asians...even those who were making human "parts' for the corporation were some Chinese people. This new version looks a little scarce of that population...
(in this case, she was Japanese.)

(11,085 posts)Wait, that was The Force Awakens. Besides, Deckard hooked up with a replicant, and may be a replicant himself, so how's he gonna have a son? R2D2 ends up stabbing him maybe.
