But as between Chuck Todd and Lindsay Graham, and someone referring to "that schmuck", I admit I have no idea which one he means.

No tax returns unless he sees something to justify it? What will it take Lindsey? How are you going to investigate Trump's finances without the tax returns for Trump AND his companies? You want a white wash, no wonder only 15% of Americans think Congress should investigate all of this crap!

7. The Republicans Are In Flat Out Denial

About the most basic facts and evidence surrounding Russiagate. If they think that Donald Trump - the man at the center of the whole investigation - can appoint an FBI director to oversee that very investigation who is impartial and above politics, I've got a bridge to sell them in Brooklyn! You could call Senator Graham just blind or naive, but it strains my credulity to think that anyone who has lived as long and been around the block as many times as he has could be so credulous. They're either unable to put two and two together, or unwilling to do so, and I think it's the latter.

But at least Senator Graham is not as bad as many Republican legislators who deny that there is any problem, or any need for an investigation at all. And that's an improvement, I suppose, however dubious the value of that improvement may be.

Heck - 78% of the American people want an independent investigation - and I presume that, by independent, they mean not overseen by somebody who is a hand picked appointee of the president. And this is the best the Republicans can do to accommodate the wishes of their constituents???

I couldn't watch a whole ten minutes of that crap. I'm praying that the whole bunch of Republican legislators who are up for reelection in 2018 are all tossed out, if this is all that the best of them can do. Time for some real reality to set in regarding the prosecution of this "reality" TV star "president", who is a president in name only.

9. Add Me To The List

of people who can't tolerate listening to either smarmy schmuck. I remember Lindsey during Bill Clinton's impeachment. The venal venom that spewed from his pie hole at that time was vomit inducing stuff. It was then that he became persona non grata to me. Poor little Lindsey thinks that a BJ by an intern is more impeachable than treason.

He is also full of BS with all the denials. If it looks like a skunk and smells like one Lindsey, it is one. And the present situation stinks to high heaven!!
