but I used to, when I had a home and unlimited wifi, just watch it on the Comedy Central web site, that's how I watched Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert for years, and a few select news programs as well. Now I don't have wifi or a home so it makes it a bit more challenging.

I do know that many DUers don't get HBO or cable - or even have TV, so I like it when the videos are posted here, if I see a particularly good opening for The Daily Show or Colbert or Seth Myers, I make it a point to post it myself. The Video Forum is a favorite of mine for that reason. And I hope that things get better for you.

I do appreciate the well wishes. And I appreciate when good video clips are posted here, I used to spend way too much time surfing news sites and all that but I just don't have that kind of time right now, so being able to see what others have found in their surfing events is a great thing. I've seen things that I would have missed or had no idea were out there by viewing what is posted at this site.

It looks like it might be a long, grueling summer until I find housing. I found out yesterday that all the state owned campgrounds that used to be free of charge now cost around $15+/night... which leaves me few options other than a nearby truck stop or some way out there roadside pullout (not very safe and costly due to gas needed to get there). It makes it hard to cook anything. Homelessness is very expensive and stressful.

And I know you posted about what's going on with you now, but since you have access to DU, did you think of posting about specific issues - things that are coming up? DU is an amazing resource, I've always been amazed at the breadth of knowledge here, not just the depth. It's rare that there isn't someone here who knows about just about anything. The campground issue - or a safe place to park. There are DUers who drive for a living, for example.

But above else, please stay in touch. That's very important and not just for your well being. DU is a community like no other and we care about each other. And we help each other when we can.
