Temple Of The Dog - Hunger Strike

One of my favorite songs by Chris Cornell, recorded 26 years ago. He was joined by Eddie Vedder and other members of Pearl Jam.

Filmed in Seattle's Discovery Park.

Another musician gone too soon.

For anyone who doesn't know, "Temple of the Dog" was Cornell's tribute to his friend Andrew Wood of "Mother Love Bone" who had recently died from heroin overdose. Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament were also members of "Mother Love Bone". If Wood had never died, Gossard likely wouldn't have hooked up with Mike McCready...Ament, Gossard, and McCready would not have needed a vocalist for their first demos, and Pearl Jam might not ever have been. Just one of those interesting turns in musical history...
