to make this connection in an advertisement. The Gianforte campaign has made a lot of hay around the medical debt that Quist previously had - and paid off. Although, they don't like to acknowledge that he, in fact, paid it off. I never understood why Gianforte thought it would be smart to shame someone for having debt. How many of us have had medical debt? JFC, as a self employed and self insured family we've had to refinance our home at least twice to pay medical debt. Montanans are not a wealthy bunch, as a rule. I would think that this ad would speak to a lot of people. However, Montanans are also well known for voting against their own best interest.
