watching Schieffer on his program, just looking shocked - SHOCKED I TELLS YA - about the gridlock in DC. The gop was blocking anything and everything President Obama tried to do. "Why, I have never seen anything like this. WHY can't this president get anything done?" Not mentioning the gop obstruction once. I lost what little respect I ever had for him that day.

Only to blow it big time a couple of days later??? And not just conservative Bob Schieffer, but also liberal / progressives like Van Jones have complemented him on his "presidential" episodes when they have happened. But, as Rachel Maddow says, we need to focus not so much on what Trump says, but on what he and his administration are actually doing. In other words, not so much on image and facade, but on actual substance.
