I don't really care about the touching hands thing (I mean is he Neil Diamond?), and think it serves as a distraction and is kind of petty, in my view, but the letter is definitely important because it let's us peer into the mind of an intellectual bowel movement. It shows the lack of compassion, a lack of sense of awareness and decorum, a moral vacuousness, and lack of a sense of being in a moment and place so powerful and meaningful to so many. The letter exposes sort of a non sequitur in what Yad Vashem is supposed to commemorate. It would be as if a clown showed up to a funeral, and since Trump is widely regarded as a clown non-metaphorically, serves to confirm just exactly that.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a clown as Head of State.
