1. Just to address one small part of this exchange.

Type 2 diabetes is not solely confined to grossly obese people who eat poorly. I know a surprising number of people who are thin, who eat well, who exercise regularly, and still develop type 2 diabetes.

And even if all those with type 2 diabetes were grossly overweight and eat poorly, they should still NOT be exempt from proper medical care. Just like those idiots who smoke and then get lung cancer or heart disease, dumb life style choice, but the STILL deserve appropriate health care. An do on with lots of other health issues.

I've never been a great fan of Sheila Jackson Lee, but she sure was at the right place and time, saying the right things, in this instance.
