because of PMS.
Speaking from personal experience, hot flashes were a lot worse for me than PMS, but fortunately I'm many years past either of those. Hmmm. I bet Hillary (a couple of years older than me) and Elizabeth Warren (a year or so younger) are both likewise well beyond either of those things.
It seems as though men have no excuse for their hormonal mood swings.
