3. In the Book of Genesis, God tells Adam to "go into the earth and subdue it"

He does NOT say, "Go into the earth and ABUSE it!" Which is exactly what we've done. Hey, I'm an agnostic, but a pastor with whom I've been friends for almost 40 years thinks that counting on God to clean up the mess WE have made is utter bullshit. And those are the words he used.
