I went to the cemeteries in Normandy and it was so sad. There are still old caissons sticking out of the ocean. If our fake prez (and draft dodger) gets WW3 going, no one should go fight for HIM. That would be his war and not ours.

the footage of those brave men going ashore, and what has always been with me was the footage of two men being struck and dying on that beach.
I do not know if they lay at the cemetery at Omaha, but the one thing I do know, was that this country supported those men and woman, and they supported a president to end fascism, and support our allies.

All the soldiers in the Higgins boat in the picture took an oath to defend the Constitution. So did Trump. The difference is the soldiers were faithful to their oaths.

If that orange hair jerk, if he had any loyalty to country, he would have, and could have, and should have gone to Bedford, Virginia

But he didn't, he has no loyalty to oath.

My own father tended to the physical and psychological scars of the returning soldiers from Europe.

It is true that what they did helped defend the Constitution and everything in it. We must remember, however, that there was a good deal of censorship by the US government during WWII.
