Here (in the USA) this would mean nothing less than EVERY candidate for office getting limited public funding. There can be no "special interest" (read that, "corporate&quot monies either directly or indirectly to the campaigns - with disqualification and/or jail time for violators of the rules. So I'm not convinced it will win for us.

17. I worked on Measure 97 in Oregon last summer. Quite a bit.

We had nearly exactly this type of messaging.

We lost.

So I remain unconvinced that there is some sort of panacea that will cause voters to wake up. The only thing that ever seems to make them want to look past the fact that Democrats are champions of minorities and women is seeing Republicans in power.
