So Embarrassed to be an American

How can you carry away disabled protestors and not be very disturbed and saddened?
Resist!

I would guess a majority of Americans did not like what they saw here.

Yesterday someone was embarrassed to be a white person.

We do not need to be embarrassed of what other people do.

These are our elected representatives throwing disabled people out on the street instead of listening to them. We're all responsible if we allow this to continue.

The way forward is to stand up for human rights, and the right to peaceful protest. And work harder to win the next elections.

Because you can no more stop it than cause it.

We can work on ourselves to be good for others.

Others need to work on themselves for the same reason.

You cannot do the work that others need to do on themselves

I would never admit that i was ameriKan.

It really reaches down into some dark corner of my visceral primitive being , that part which reacts to evil and dumb, uncontrolled power and unbridled arrogance.

Ireland (largely of our own making too, with crap politicians), but I have no wish to live in the US. I've seen the way my Florida based brother has gotten on, with that tool Scott, and it has cured me of the dewy eyed memory of the US.
