What we need in the United States is leadership.

For courage--not complacency--is our need today--leadership--not salesmanship. And the only valid test of leadership is the ability to lead, and lead vigorously. A tired nation, said David Lloyd George, is a Tory nation--and the United States today cannot afford to be either tired or Tory. - JFK July 15, 1960

Your grandfather and your great-uncles are so sorely missed in today's United States that it hurts the soul to fully consider the chasm between those men or grace and vision and the current excuse for a president and leadership we are stuck with.

I await the arrival of Joseph Kennedy III on the national stage with great anticipation and a willingness to work as hard as possible to help his eventual candidacy...

He is young...maybe he should run...maybe not...but John Kennedy died over 50 years ago...time the Democrats stopped looking for a savior and went to work...no one will save us ...no president. One man cannot do it...and with all the worship of Kennedy, the president who gave us the most progressive policy and anti-discrimination laws was Johnson (Medicaid, Medicare and civil rights bill): not Kennedy and not even Roosevelt. The country will not be united behind one man again; we are too divided. So roll up you sleeves and get to work...and whoever is left standing after the primary...vote for him/her; always vote Democratic and show up at mid terms (people didn't for Pres. Obama in 10). It doesn't much matter who is president as long as he/she is a Democrat and that is the truth. Always vote for the Democrat and vote in every election. Say nice things about your party and fellow Democrats...don't join in the circular firing squad. I think you may be pleasantly surprised at the outcome. I use a universal 'you'...not you in particular. We should all do the above.
