And that's where Prescott Bush and the Dulles brothers came in. They and their UBC laundromat raised millions for the Nazis in Wall Street before Hitler took office, and continued to launder for them before, during, and even after the war.

it seems kind of simplistic to me. Was this made for 3rd graders? The Treaty of Versailles was awful, huge numbers historian have stated that over the years. It took less than 20 years for the effects of the Treaty to get it's inevitable outcome to occur.

Our started with Ronald Reagan. He brought all his insane simplistic racists ideas and anti-progressive ideas to Americans while he hit his marks and said his lines. He was an actor, not a leader, he danced to others orders. He was a coward and an idiot, kinda like Trump. This is a guy that named names for Mccarthy.

He was the one that started "trickle down", he was the one his acceleration of the drug trade in America, Iran-Contra, his horrible cuts to education. Those were the worst. He cut education and made it sound like he was doing every one a favor that little John and Jane were going to be great if they were illiterate.

He played on the fears of even his or his advisors massive lack of understanding of the Middle East and the damage we had done to the area. He flung himself around a china shop with a baseball bat thinking everyone would cower to America, because that was what his script said. As flung poo everywhere he had zero idea of the consequences and he didn't care, because the people thought he was farting rainbows and unicorn dust. His masters had him play to the fears of OPEC nations taking their hatred out on us for our meddling in the Middle East since WWII. Another something he never grasped, since he didn't serve and was an idiot.

Americans were tired of Watergate, the Vietnam war, hippies and the crooks. His masters set him up as apple pie and fireworks and sadly we bought into it.

The result has been the failing grades, in all aspects of American prosperity, leadership, education, health and good will in the world. We are now at our Crystal Night moment and where we go from here is on our shoulders, but the ramp up to the insanity can be illustrated and conveyed by history to present day. We have ha horrible presidents before, we have always had the systems in place to control their insanity.

Now 30% or more of the nation doesn't understand how corrupt and rotten our system has become and the result is Mitch McConnell and Cryin' Ryan. I don't know how we can turn this around without blood on the streets. I know there is someone smarter than me to find a way, but I fear for this country more now than when Bush was in office.

A cartoon for kids is great to get them on the road to understanding why history repeats itself if we are not vigilant, but WWI and WWII are so much more complex than a 5 minute cartoon and we don't have the systems in place any longer to educate people to the realities of action and reaction.

I can see some of this happening now. It's not exactly the same, but similar. How a brutal dictator appeals to the masses. He doesn't tell or show them he is a brutal dictator, of course. The other politicians endorse him, to stay on his good side. A really bad economy, so that he is able to play on fears simplistically, blaming the Jews and communists. Blaming the loss of the war on protesters and such.

One of the first things he does after gaining power is abolish the free press.

This is chilling. How an evil authoritarian gains control in a democracy.

Just finished reading "An Iron Wind" by Peter Fritzsche, based on first person accounts of letters and diaries of how European civilians struggled to understand how their world was turned upside down during the Nazi occupation. In our case, it is Russia instead of the Third Reich.

The one thing that gives me hope is that we are not Germany in 1933. Although we are struggling, I believe we will prevail because the alternative is unthinkable.
