I started posting these since I realize a lot on DU don't stay up as late as I do - or even have TV - and we sure need some intelligent and sympathetic humor about now. And Stephen nails it every single night.

hell bent on getting this (whatever it is) passed, I wonder what is in it for him?? Remember, he called the meeting on the eve of President Obama's first inauguration, vowing to block EVERYTHING he tried to do. He also vowed to make President Obama a "one term president" Lumpy little Johnnie Mac was enthusiastic about THAT, too. The gop are a party of traitors, looking out for their own bank accounts, nothing else. Traitors, every one. Where is Lyin' Ryan these days, hiding from his constituents like the rest of them?

Though I have no clue why any one of them would vote for him. His one aim in Congress was just as you said, making Obama a one-term president, and he sure failed at that - thankfully.

The late night comedians are having the time of their lives with this - the material pretty much writes itself with this fool on Capitol Hill!
