Several things stand out. One is that if you don't already, well ahead of any potential emergency, have a 14 day supply of food and water you sure won't be able to stock those things very quickly.

Nor be able to construct any sort of shelter inside your home.

The other thing is that nuclear explosions would not trigger massive earthquakes like that. Nor would they know the magnitude while in progress.
