My ex- sister-in-law was accidentally exposed to radiation poisoning at Y-12 plant, Oak Ridge 14 yrs ago. She has multiple serious health problems.
Nuclear waste is but one of many problems that people essentially just want to cover their eyes and ears in order to not be bothered.

He may address issues with humor, but he does tackle some deadly serious ones. And I'm so sorry about your sister-in-law, kudos to John for bringing this up and getting us to pay attention.
