The proof is in the pudding, and I will not be happy until he is gone, and there is a rational Democrat in the White House.

It could all just be another ploy, to dominate the news cycles for all we know.

We all know he must be the headliner, or he is not happy.

Just another episode of Celebrity Apprentice - Presidential Edition. A political version of ED TV.

There is so much work to do to correct this historic Oligarch takeover aberration that has infected our Democracy.

Anyone remember the song "The Man Who Sold the World"?

I went over to Free Republic to indulge in a bit of schadenfreude. Quite a few of them were reacting along the lines of the OP, outraged at the DACA betrayal of his hardcore supporters ("he stabs them in the back making them look like fools" ) and at what they see as the general failure of the right-wing agenda:

RE:”Still no tax cuts and still no Wall”

Do you need an abortion?

PP is still funded.

Plus, of course, the ACA still on the books and the debt ceiling extended. "Quite frankly, this does not bode well for America."

(Usually I provide links for quotations but I don't link to FR. Trust me, the quotations are genuine.)

Even with all this, however, some are still on the Trump train. They're already rationalizing:

Trump never said he would deport every illegal, just the undesirables.

"The good ones can stay" has always been his position.

Their guy will say whatever it takes at the moment to "get a win". It doesn't matter if it fits with what he said yesterday or even an hour ago. It is ALL about what is good for him at that moment. So now that the shoe is on the other foot, they find it can pinch in all the wrong places. It just cracks me up that they are just now discovering that their guy lies and fabricates on the fly. No one should ever believe a word he says. Anyone who thinks he is on their side is deluded. The only side he is ever on his what he thinks is good for himself.

I think trumpolini is going to pay a price finally for his dirty deals of trying to make everyone think he is "their man" only to discover he is no one's man. The only one he gives a rat's ass about is himself. The rest is smoke and mirrors.

that his poll ratings are in the gutter. If there's one thing the Orange Shit-Stain wants.....it's to be loved. Well, not maybe loved so much as being popular. He hates that so many people hate him, and I sincerely think he's trying to be more popular among Americans. He doesn't want to be remembered in history as the most hated president, ever. And what REALLY bothering him, is that the Trump Brand is sinking his faster than his poll numbers. He's thinking about his bank account, and Ivanka is thinking about her bank account, and they're all scared shitless that this "Russian thing" is going to wipe them out.

Yep, I think Donnie two scoops is having a come to Jesus epiphany here. Either he's going to be rode out of town on a rail, or he's going to make some concessions to the left and independents in an attempt to improve his image. I think he's still going to jail, but the inmates might treat him a little nicer if he doesn't come off as such a gigantic asshole.

These blowhards still don't get it. Just like after W, they're just going to claim Trump was never really a conservative in the first place, and continue to search for the hardest right winger they can to support next time around. They never get that the Republican party is, simply, morally bankrupt.

As soon as he makes an honest U-turn on all his policy positions and takes substantial steps toward appointing nonpartisan experts to chair his cabinet and government agencies, universal healthcare, tax reform that doesn't benefit multinational conglomerates at the cost of everyone else, transitioning to renewable energy, appointing SCOTUS judges who aren't right wing shills, campaign finance reform, taking foreign interference in our elections seriously, or ending gerrymandering.

Anything else is purely song and dance. In the case of DACA we should wait and see what happens but by itself it's not worth much.

Preparation H.
Rapid relief, now with Lidocaine.

As always, consult your health care provider if symptoms persist.
For, say, the next 3 years and 3 months.

Butt, keep in mind: as an over-the-counter medication, your "ObamaCare" does not cover the cost of Preparation H, let alone Sitz Baths, Tucks Pads or other butt-hurt remedies.

Depending on the health insurance policy you now carry, office visits to your primary care physician, specialist referrals (i.e. proctologists) and maybe even your friendly local doc-in-a-box might be covered.

Or you could just suffer the pain in silence. (not fucking likely).
