Trevor is as outraged as the rest of us - and he can do voices!

He's also multi talented. I caught a special of his stand up and he's great at impersonations and voices!

I have noticed how the really good comedians are also very smart. Their minds click on all cylinders and they can show us perspectives we can't even articulate. Very special.

Plus, he just signed a 5-year contract!

I'd never heard of him before he replaced Jon Stewart. I know a lot of us were hoping for John Oliver. But Trevor has really stepped up to the plate, is totally conversant on the issues and his humor is cutting edge.

And I did not know about the contract, excellent news!

He can deliver deadpan irony without even a flinch of smirk Jon couldn't quite contain, or can animate like the above hilariously. There was one mastery of Jon's routine that is hard for anyone to match: The cameraman only had to flash back onto Jon's face after any clip of someone pontificating asinine garbage, Jon with a wide-eyed look that just said it all even before he spoke. Busted my gut every time.
Trevor's been sharpening his own edge. This is exemplary.

I think that's why I always found David Brenner very funny and Jon Stewart has the same ability. I was actually in his studio audience once - back in 2008. And he's not only charismatic, completely owned the room, but he's also very nice. He answered audience questions before the show and one lady asked him about his notes. He remembered and after the show he made a point of giving them to her.

Trevor has a different talent, but it didn't take long for him to grow on me. I agree that he's is very sharp on the issues, as informed as any other late night comedian, IMO, as well as being very funny.

Professionals when they feel like it, children when they feel like it. Which certainty means they are not professionals.
