4. Mr. Packman is making quite a stretch with this observation

There are few people who hate Trump more than I but David Packman can and does do better than this.

In the clip, Trump acknowledges the first-responders (I assume) then mentions Pence. With his wife standing next to him, it could be seen that he was acknowledging her and explaining why she was there.

It doesn't seem to me that this was one of those many Trumpian moments like when he deplaned Air Force One and didn't know his limo was right in front of him.

When Trump lies he often says the opposite of what is the case.

Perhaps Melania really didn't want to be there,and Trump is not only lying for public display but ramming it down her throat.

6. I'm not so sure about this claim.

The quote appears at 1:19. If he thought Melania wasn't there he would have said "Melania really wanted to be here but..." and explained why she wasn't, but it seems more like he was naming a list of people he was thanking everyone on behalf of, and giving special emphasis to Melania.

However, what this clip does show is Trump's practice of speaking in sentence fragments.

how Melania and Pence remained stone-faced. If a normal person made an error like that, people around him would smile at him, rib him a little, smile a teasing smile...

The look they both had was the look you have when you are trying to mask the insanity of someone close to you. You collectively agree to ACT like it never happened.

She and Pence spoke volumes with their NON-reaction.
