was a major contributor to our current political imbroglio, yet in looking further back, the other gop culprit was that 'nice guy' potus, reagan....he was a racist governor of california, voted against the ERA, any civil rights legislation, believed in limited government, but government grew under his tenure...I could go on but what's the use. We are now at a point in our tangled and complicated history...all three major branches are controlled/led by these repthugliKKKans. Only hope we have is regaining trust and integrity...EQUALITY...to our electoral system. Don't know if that can happen though...realistically...at least for the next generation or so, if ever.
