Police: Las Vegas gunman did not plan to die inside room



EXPLANATORY EDIT: I posted the same basic story in LBN yesterday. If you think I'm harping on this, you're right. My brother Steven was a card-carrying NRA member with no history of mental illness, but he shot himself to death with a 100% legally-purchased gun eight years ago. And I'm the type who holds a grudge.

might be a little confused about that. How the hell was he ever going to escape? And if he hoped to escape, you'd think he had that all planned out, like every other aspect of his deadly rampage.

No, something doesn't sound quite right about that statement. Everything leading up to his crime suggests he was never leaving that room alive. But what do I know. They have the evidence, not me.
