Watched FOX News 24/7 with the volumes turned up and on a big screen.

We'd share a meal and I'd get regurgitation of something Newt Gingrich or Bill O'Reilly said.

He was obsessed with Fox's point of view. Prior to FOX, he liked and admired Reagan, which was bad enough. But not an obsession.

It was totally surreal.

And it’s true, Fox News has been singularly harmful to the country, disseminating lies and propaganda nonstop. But another, less noted source of misinformation comes from right wing radio. The subject of this documentary started out by listening to right wing radio during his lengthy commutes to and from work. This succeeded in triggering his anger at certain groups of people, and his personality started to change. Unfortunately, the bipartisan Telecommunications Act of 1996, signed by Bill Clinton, has had a disastrous effect on the media. More than 90% of the media is owned by just 6 companies. This problem will keep getting worse until we can change the laws.

I know quite a few people who used to be progressive, then they watched Fox News and they became members of the right wing religious conspiracy nut club. It just does that to people.

I just finished it. I had heard of it and forgot all about it. I'm so glad I watched it. It was well done. I learned so much.
