Maybe this job is too much for someone with personality disorder at his age. Along with the demands of the job, it must be very difficult to come up with plausible lies and keep all the people surrounding him in his circle of “admirers” loyal to him. I think he is cognitive enough to only support issues that benefit him. The wall is just a wedge issue that has come about due to the overwhelming support of the bigots and poorly educated who blame their failures on people different from them. They will never deport more than necessary to keep up appearances. Why? The churches need them to continue to exist as whites are now a minority in church attendance. The church has as much power in the hierarchy as anyone in elected office . This is why the 25th admendment should be held back until Mueller can gather more damaging evidence on Pence. He will give the church even more power and dominance over the public. We are in such a dilemma in this country and it all due to the Republican embrace of the religious right.

Trump has been on record for bizarre behaviour for years.

He was reported to have phoned Forbes on numerous occasions to accuse them of understating his wealth for their rich list.

He has been reported several times by magazines for submitting statements claiming to be his own secretary and extolling his own brilliance.

He has always been a narcissistic blowhard and liar. His current behaviour does not seem to be terribly different. Inflammatory statements, lies and self promotion - even in the face of clearly provable facts have been a staple of his career.

If Republicans are going to play the dementia card, then they must put their hands up to having elected and protected a man who was unfit and a danger to the country. His brinksmanship with Korea alone should have been reason enough - except that more important than racial division, more important than bad relationships with former allies, more important than colluding with Russia, more important than was with Korea. The republicans wanted their tax cuts.

If Trump has dementia, everyone around him must be prosecuted for endangering the country

While impersonating others all through his sham career. Nothing new in this behavior. His limo thing could have been distraction, tiredness or just plain no sense of direction.
