Israel trains US police in the same tactics that Israel uses against the Palestinians, and Israel is a reliable, if repressive, Us ally.

if I remember correctly, stood against it. I think govt. threatened to withhold funds.

4. She is a propagandist, and not even a good one

First she describes the current situation as a "settler/colonial reality/project" while talking about Christmas and Christians, who, as everyone knows were Jews living in their homeland 2000 years ago. I guess the irony completely escapes her. At the time her Arab ancestors had not conquered the middle east yet and still resided in the arabian peninsula.

Then she claims that the "settler/colonial project" wants to destroy Palestinian nationalism, that's just a lie.

Then she lied about the peel commission and balfour stating that it was designed to erase the Palestinians, when in reality both plans gave a great deal of land to the local Arab population. She also completely ignores the fact that the Arabs rejected partition and launched a war of genocide against the nascent Jewish state.

Her rant about how democrats and republicans hold the same views re borders, J'lem and Security Council support is also a lie, and ignores the completely over the top attention Israel gets in the UN.

Whether the Geneva Convention article 4 applies to the occupied territories is open for debate, but a real violation of geneva 4 article 49 is happening right now in Cyprus, and she has nothing to say about what Turkey is doing.

She apparently even objects to defensive measures taken by Israel to contain terrorism like the security fence, and blames both American parties, including PBO for shielding the Israelis from UN sanctions.

She also supports "lawfare" over negotiations, and places a lot of blame on the Palestinian leadership for "not resisting", what she won't say out loud however, is for her the endgame is the elimination of Israel, not a sovereign Palestinian state, that's what she is implying when she said the Palestinian leaders have chosen sovereignty over freedom.
