My message: This tax bill is a gift to the investment class on the back of the working class. Put country before party & please vote no.

(10,094 posts)I am sure there are all other kinds of special exemptions and other things in the bill that will benefit specific members, after all, the vast majority of them are very wealthy.

(9,426 posts)to "Take the Money and Run" He is not seeking re-election. He does not need to "work" (that is actually what they call it in DC!!) He called the WH A daycare center for seniors, yet instead of helping the country get the Dolt out of office, he takes care of #1, He has used constituents dumb enough to vote him into office to make himself rich, then bails. Little man, like Sessions.

(24,683 posts)And did you tell her how she could get a tax break?
Did you tell her she could become an insurance company ( sell health insurance) and rent or build a building and be classified as a developer of a a building and get "Pass Through's" a two for one tax deal............................
Hey, Bob can I call you Bob, did you give Liza Murkowski a call and tell her the good news, that she also could get a tax break, on oil property, just by an oil well and putting up a building, on the Arctic Reserve, and get the same thing that your doing..................
Hey Bob, did you call Jeff Flake, about your scam, and that he also can get into doing the same thing....................
Hey Bob, did you tell them that this is how you fleece the taxpayers........................
So that next year, everyone in the above mentioned states, senior citizens, and those that are disabled, that they can get fucked, because the social security and the Medicaid and Medicare is going to be , or I should say, tried to be cut, because there is a klepto republican Ayn Rand fascist leader in the House, that is a sadistic asshole ----------------did you tell them that BOB...........

Of course, this has nothing to do with benefiting Donald Trump and family, they have no interest in real estate ....

Lil Bob Corker is starting to sweat as details of the #Corkerkickback, and how it benefits Corker personally, start to come out in the media.
As The Hill reports .
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) sent a letter on Sunday to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) asking how a provision that would potentially benefit real estate moguls, including Corker, made it into the final version of the Republican tax-reform bill.
Because this issue has raised concerns, I would ask that you provide an explanation of the evolution of this provision and how it made it into the final conference report, Corker wrote.
The International Business Times reported Saturday that a provision added during the reconciliation process allows owners of income-producing real estate to take advantage of a 20-percent deduction for "pass-through" entities. The Senate version of the tax bill included rules that allowed the deduction to be claimed only by businesses that pay their employees significant wages. .............

(6,928 posts)Two words says it all. If it benefits HIS wealthy ass then he's ALL in. That old nasty ACA--that has to GO so guys like Corker can get his LLC pass through tax break.
Oh and of course it helps that he's not running again.

(24,683 posts)that you are going to vote and give 53 billion of our money to the assholes , that don't deserve, it, because you and your party just cut the legs out of the health care mandate, so that you and your megalomaniac party of shit can give a traitor and your traitorous selves a so called political win----------------
How many buildings are you going to build out of the 53 billion asshole in your new "PASS THROUGH's" tax breaks, while everyone else get tax breaks, that will SUNSET, beginning in two years while your corporate " PASS THROUGH's" never see the light of the sunset application , but everyone else will have to pay your tax break and the corporate tax break--------------------FUCK YOU
Maybe your dark money hacks, like the Koch's can think up of a new name, like WFTMCHAHA (WE FUCKED THE MIDDLE CLASS HA HA) and take that off on the tax break for 501.c 3 and 4

(51,129 posts)#CorkerKickback worth $1.19 million for Corker, but hey, there's $800 in it for normal people
By Joan McCarter --- Dec 18, 2017
According to Corker's disclosure forms, he makes between $1.2 million and $7.0 million annually in this sort of income. (We don't know how much Donald Trump earns in this type of income since he broke his campaign promise about releasing his tax returns after his audit was completed.) If we plug in the top end $7 million figure, Corker could be saving as much as $1,190,000 from this late addition to the tax bill.
Here's what that looks like compared to that supposed tax break that Florida Sen. Marco Rubio touted for moderate income families. .....

(6,926 posts)I simply said he lied. I said he promised to NEVER vote for anything that increased the deficit and this one does that badly. I reminded him again he lied.
I got a form letter thanking me for contacting him about the tax bill.
Such bullshit. My email was really only about four sentences and I called him a liar twice.
