3. They should have played 'La Donna e Mobile' for the whole video!
When it comes to our infrastructure you'll laugh, and you'll cry.
I mean, we could easily take care of all these snags and deficiencies - but the billionaires need more tax money to feel good about themselves don'tchaknow. Thanks for posting, Tom. Happy Holidays! |

5. Wow...
Raise the bridge or lower the road. Or do a combo. Undercutting the road with a machine and recycling the pavement could lower it substantially. My town uses a machine that mills the blacktop. They use it to take out crowns and excess built-up layers. The nearby city which was short on paving money finally followed tried it with super success, to the delight of residents. The worst war zone streets were done, many cut down to the original bricks.
Why won't the railroad cooperate? Locally CSX actually raised a few of theirs by re-shimming them. The lifted the stringers and added steel girders to the tops of the pillars. |

6. Perhaps We Should Repeal The Tax Cut for the Rich...
...to help pay for it. Otherwise, Democrats get blamed for the deficit again.
Still, that is just a poorly designed bridge. It is not like it fell apart. You could build a brand new bridge that is also poorly designed. |
